Frequently Asked Questions
What are LED's?
LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. Different from lights using filaments or inert gasses to produce light, LED’s use a solid state diode which illuminates when an electrical current passes through it. LED lights use over 75% less energy compared to incandescent bulbs making them incredibly energy efficient.
What are Energy Incentive Programs?
Energy Providers offer financial incentives for reducing your energy usage. Because they are so energy efficient, when you replace older lighting systems with LEDs, you can significantly reduce your energy usage. The incentive you earn from this reduction typically covers a considerable portion of the cost to the majority of lighting projects.
What is a ComEd Energy Efficiency Service Provider
As a ComEd Energy Efficiency Service Provider, we are part of an exclusive group of suppliers that can access more substantial ComEd incentive programs. This means that if your business qualifies, you could see a larger rebate than you would with their standard program.
What program does my business qualify for?
It depends on your energy provider, but the majority of businesses qualify for energy incentive programs. The best way to start is by finding out who your energy provider is and contacting us to see which of their programs your business qualifies for. Based on the program you qualify for and your current energy usage, we'll calculate the amount of the incentive your business will receive when you upgrade.
What is an Energy Assessment?
When you partner with us, one of our Energy Efficiency Advisors will stop by your facility to do an Energy Assessment. This includes a quick site survey that takes account of your current lighting situation. Then, based on your lighting and incentive program, we'll put together a project proposal. All of this is completely free with no strings attached. To schedule your assessment today, click here.
