L.E.D Rite provides complete lighting solution to Illinois Wheaton Sanitary District. From office lighting to outdoor affluent tanks, The Wheaton Sanitary District is saving energy, and maintenance costs. It is taking its commitment to protect the health and well being of its community to an even greater level. The District is saving over 200,000 Kw of electricity per year , all while providing a better lit- safer work environment and keeping nearby neighbors happy by putting the light where it is needed and not to the outside the property. Over 300 traditional lights with mercury based light sources have been fully reclaimed and removed and replaced with 100 percent nontoxic non-hazardous, 100 percent recyclable LED lights. In addition to saving energy and further protecting our environment, Wheaton Sanitary District is driving energy and maintenance costs down. By selecting DLC listed products they were able to take full advantage of the available DCEO and Clean Energy incentives to subsidize the upfront investment by nearly 50 percent. This investment in our Community will provide huge monetary and environmental savings for many years.
