Background:

Our Solar-LED street light, combing two state-of-art technologies offers innovative solutions for energy saving and environmental protection which is Okinawa City Government looked for.

With our patented cutting-edge thermal management system which uses superior heat sink designs to dissipate heat and keep junction temperature as low as possible, and the multiple drivers/LED array module technology provides steady current to maximize the performance potential of LEDs.

Cooperating with another manufacturer which is superior on the solar module charging management and efficient controller to drive LEDs, we ensured that the system is able to withstand high wind typhoon and wet island climate. The controller charges and efficiently stores the energy gathered by the solar module to the battery during the daytime and released the power to switch on the LED lighting during the nighttime.

Results:

The Okinawa city residences enjoyed the clean nature of solar energy and high efficiency of LED street lighting. The energy saving was tremendouly increased compared to the conventional street lighting. It also significantly reduced carbon emission.
