Gas Station Project - Hiroshima, Japan Project Overview
Background:
One of the premium brand gas station & c-store chains in Japan realized that customers are often drawn to their properties for fast food, quick service and easy access and also because of the perception of cleanliness, safety and a friendly atmosphere. The type of lighting selection became very important, not only for the brand identity to attract more customers but also provide a way to reduce energy costs.
After evaluating many high power LEDs from various suppliers which have to guarantee safety in the hazardous location, our product was selected. The selection of our 100W and 150W flood lights was for meeting the requirements for the environment the quality, appearance and the savings. The first test site selected is in Hiroshima City. The plan is to continue LED illuminated gas stations throughout Japan.
Results:
It has generated higher traffic and reduced energy cost for about 75%.
